The Very Best of

Amenities

Lac Des Isles is situated within the spectacular Meadow Lake Provincial Park. The lake is 19 km long and 5 km wide. The average depth is 30-40 feet, with some areas reaching depths of 100 feet or more.

Terrific for boating, watersports and game fishing. Lac Des Isles has an extremely healthy population of sport fish including, Walleye, Northern pike (20-30lbs are not uncommon), Yellow Perch, Whitefish and Lake Trout. The entire north shore of the lake is undeveloped, natural and has many pristine beaches that are only accessible by boat or hiking. Boat rentals are available.

There are over 20 other lakes in the vicinity as well, also with great fishing.

Only minutes away is the beautiful Northern Meadows Golf Course – now with 18 challenging holes. Family-friendly mini-golf is also nearby.

Groceries, treats and almost anything you may have forgotten at home can be found at the stores in and around the park. There are restaurants in the area to enjoy.

Beautiful hiking – marked trails crisscross the area and are suitable for beginner and more advanced hikers. 1.6- to 11-km lengths available marked “easy” to ”moderate.” Watch for common loons, red-necked grebes and lesser scaups cruising the lake, and don’t miss the blueberry patches near the trailhead.

The area is popular in the Winter for its great cross-country ski trails, snowmobiling and ice fishing.
